Okay, I said at the beginning of the season that this whole season was a wash, due to new coach, horrible cap problems, etc.
But they just killed me. The Bears aren’t that much better than us. In fact, they ARE us. Just with luck and an ability to win close games. Urlacher = Arrington. A-train = Stephen Davis. on and on. Same type of play.
So our season is over. That’s okay. Maybe they’ll use this as an excuse to get a GM and not let Coach Marty even try and do that job during the offseason. We can still turn this around I think. Maybe even by next season. (okay, that’s optimism.…)
I keep going back to the simple fact that we SO fired the wrong person when we got rid of Casserly instead of Norv. groan.
Oh well. We’ll see how they finish out the year now that nothing is on the line.
