Visvocab extended.

A standard IA scheme. Jesse James Garretts IA schema/modeling works very very well. I love it. If you do any sort of site mapping or Information Architecture, go there now. Right Now. What are you waiting for?

If you do But I’m finding myself wanting to do more and more and more to my documents. I want to include content info (ownership etc), interaction design, plain site mapping, functional backend functionality, etc. So I’m finding myself mixing metaphors and explanations within the same document. Lots of extra add-on boxs, callout text blocks and asterisks explaining additional on page elements. Mmmm.…if I was really good, I guess I could come up with my own extended taxonomy to extend Jesse’s pure IA vocabulary, make an “Uber Site Charting Vocabulary”. Oh wait, that sounds like a lot of work. Maybe this thought process will continue into the future as I needlessly bang my head against multiple layers of information in a Vision Site Chart.
