Okay. I’m a tabs guy. Why? Easy. A) it’s easier to align code, move back and forth. B) It’s one character, not 2,3,4 or whatever.
I do hate the fact that when I view code in Notepad it shows up as 8 spaces. That drives me crazy. But it doesn’t outweigh the value I have working on the code. But to be honest, I’ve flipped on this issue before.
Tabs versus Spaces is an excellent page letting us know how to change the display of the base8 tab entry in *NIX systems. Which is nice. I just need to figure out how to do it for Notepad.
