Carmina Popularia

Meredith Minter Dixon has done something just utterly fantastic. She has translated song lyrics into Latin.

excerpt from Puff, the Magic Dragon:
Fumus, draco magus
Incoluit mare.
Lusit autumnal’illic
Maritimo Hanalo.

It’s quite brilliant.
