Putting a Bad Interface on Things

Fredric Paul has a nice article on Usability over at Techweb. Putting A Bad Interface On Things gives a brief overview of usability, what it means, and wondering why online applications/sites are so, well, broken.

The outline he gives as what needs to happen is simple:
1. Test
2. Get Help
3. Concentrate on the most important problems
4. Make a commitment

Now, those are pretty straightforward items. Nothing earthshattering. But the article is a good one, particularly if you’re new/beginning with Usability.
