Safari

Safari. Another damn browser. But, after downloading it, and testing it out, I’m not hating it. It doesn’t do tabs, and that sucks beyond belief. But it’s fast…bookmark management is cool…snapback is interesting…google bar is somewhat nice. But it doesn’t do tabs…based on KHTMLCSS oddities…

Note: I might be turning around on the whole based on KHTML issue, especially after reading the Safari post by John Gruber. Apparantly the code is tight. And, if some minor CSS issues are addressed after this “public beta”, then all the better. Still want Tabs though.

People’s reaction to safari: Mena Trott, Mark Pilgrim (and here), Ben Hammersley, Noel Jackson, John Gruber

Not when this post was written. This was pre-tab, pre-release Safari.
