National Do Not Call List. The registry will be created by the FTC once funding is available. Then consumers will be able to put their names on the list four months laters. Three months after that, telemarketers will be required to search the registry. And that’s also when the enforcement efforts against those firms who not not honor the registry will begin.
Check back at this location to see when your registration will be phased in. They’re doing it region by region (given that 99% of America will want to be on this list.)
