Change your design on a regular basis.

Can your CMS do different layouts?. Nathan Ashby-Kuhlman has an excellent idea on CMS.

Basically, he argues that many sites look the same, all the time. And that’s bad. And that seems to be tied to the CMS being somewhat a pain in the ass to change on a fluid basis. (which it is, in my experience).

Go read it. Good stuff there. And a ton of decent outlinks.
