Vintage Advertising

Ad*Access is a project funded by the Duke Endowment “Library 2000” Fund. It contains images and information for 7,000 advertisements printed in the U.S. and Canadian newspapers and magazines between 1911 and 1955.

They focus on five main subject areas, Radio, Television, Transportation, Beauty and Hygiene, and World War II.

Fantastic Stuff. This one kills me. I love the evolution of language over time. And this one I love for the heck of it.
