Why you need Design Research

Design Research: Why you need it, by Steve Calde is a great article. Design research is a body of knowledge assembled by a small team used to create models, obtaining an objectiive of technical development constraints and opportunities, discovering business goals that may affect strategies, and understanding user needs.

There are three main activities of the design research phase: stakeholder interviews, domain research and user interviews.

Now you’ve read this sort of thing before, and in an ideal world, it would be great. Why do companies skip design research? Those common research are debunked in this wonderful article.
