Principles of Task Flow

The latest Boxes and Arrows, Views and Forms: Principles of Task Flow for Web Applications Part 1, is a quite interesting read. It really delves into some of the higher Interaction Design problems. There are three ways that "Bob Baxley":http://www.boxesandarrows.com//people/archives/bob_baxley.php talks about to guide and arrange user flow. Hubs, wizards and guides. This article mainly talks about hubs.
The structure of a hub is one of the most common task flows used in HTML-based Web applications. As it's name implies, a hub is constructed from a single view page and a collection of forms. The view serves as a launching pad to each of the forms with a successful submit from any of the forms returning back to the view.
Also, as a real bonus, a "discussion list on Interaction Design":http://lists.boxesandarrows.com/listinfo.cgi/interaction-boxesandarrows.com has been set up at Boxes and Arrows.
