The idea is great. It's showcasing the power of your server-side language to program your CSS on the fly in a dramatic sense.
I mean, he takes every element and screws around with it in a dramatic fashion. Top navigation becomes sidebar navigation. etc. That's fairly powerful. And that's what I think is cool about it.
If he could program the thing to generate nice looking CSS we'd be out of jobs.
