real-life transformers: perhaps the next step beyond humvee fetishism?
the bolt gallery itself is working, but the link above (/gallery.html) has presumably been moved. the sculpture is decidedly impressive; i seem to recall having seen some furniture along the same lines in a tent at glastonbury (!) which, i'm sure, would fit right in to a hypothetical warehouse apartment. some day, it will be mine.

driving something that looked like that, i'd be worried that it may transform into a gargantuan robot warrior at any second. still, remarkably cool.
by the way, the bolt gallery link is broken -- after just one day! a testament to the web's unerring transience.

But think of it if you could transform the truck into a robot at your command. That would be cool. "Who has the right of way? I do"
I was able to get to the Bolt Gallery today.
