The Myth of Perfect Web Design.

The Myth of Perfect Web Design, by D. Keith Robinson. This is an interesting post, in which Mr. Robinson talks about how perfect web design is a misnomer. There is no such thing as a perfect web design. Which I can agree with, to a degree. I aim for perfection when I design and code, particularly professionally. I agonize over that last 5% of the effort. I always aim to create something truly fantastic and the best that it can be. Perfect is subjective, and implies one way of doing things. This is the cornerstone of his whole argument. Do the best possible solution in the best possible way. Again I agree with this. But I still have problems not aiming for perfect. The perfect solution for the client, the perfect implementation, the perfect coding. It might be unattainable, but it's a goal that I'd like to reach. I don't know if I can stop thinking in that regard. It might save me a ton of time, effort and heartache, but I just don't know. I'll have to seriously think about this. A very good read. Very thought provoking.
