Tricks for usable forms

Sitepoint has a decent article on Simple Tricks for More Usable Forms. These "tricks" include focusing on the form when the page loads (document.getElementById('formfieldName').focus();), styling labels with CSS and JavaScript, and preselecting text inside a textfield. They give examples of code to make these items work, and they seem pretty slick. I like the idea of using the "behavior layer" to make forms work better. The examples seem pretty well written, and well explained. Good stuff for any web-based form.
