Flights of Fantasty

Fantasy Planes are airplanes that have never gotten built. Too visionary, or just visions of possibilities, or just before their time, there are some grand plans for some truly fantastic airplanes here. Why don't we have this future? Where is my jetpack? I want my jetpack.

Tony - I'm guessing you know the name 'Flights of Fantasy' relates to Concorde?

Tony

Nope. Never heard of the Condorde being called that.

Anonymous

It wasn't also known as that - let me clarify: it was a name given to flights with no destination.

'Flights of Fantasy' were flights of a few hours for those special celebrations, or just the chance of a lifetime (to fly at mach 2) for some.

Tony

Nice. That would be cool in it's own right, a flight for flight's sake. Who wouldn't want a chance to go Mach 2?
