_kind_ of on the subject of new layouts: i really like this new* title image (http://www.simiandesign.com/assets/images/centerphotos/center-photo5.jpg). it works very well.

the link is a dud, and the bullet shouldn't be, but never mind; you get the gist, I'm sure.

It's a free image, from a free stock photo. I'm sure you've seen it before. I know I've used it before in other projects, and I'm sure other people have used it too.

Can't tell if you're being a dick, sarcastic, or sincere. It would help if you left your name.

i am being most sincere -- i love your "blog", and if i was to pick a "numero uno" of my dailies, yours would be it.

my name is irrelevant (call me shy). i have only ever posted comments here, and have only done so three times before (flights of fantasy [plus reply], and another one, which escapes me right now)!

Nothing to apologize about. I'd have deleted the comment if it really upset me.

I get so much spam and crap in these comments a lot of time my first reaction is to delete anything I'm unsure of. That's all.

And I had a bad day. Lucky you just got a little tiny vent...that's all.

I love colorful photos for the top graphic. I did something similar on http://yellowproject.org recently and I love how vibrant the photos make the page.

I need a new photo for my own site.

The free photo places (istockphoto, etc..) are fantastic. Dig through those.

Unless you're SUPER motivated, and then dig out your camera and take your own. I've avoided that until this point.

That's what I did for yellowproject.. just because I wanted campus photos.

There's some cool photos on those free stock sites. I'll have to hunt around there some.
