Bulletproof Slants is the latest from Dan Cederholm, and it is good.
The key concept that I think he is talking about here is bulletproof. Which means stuff that is as fast, as flexible, as accessible as possible, while allowing for non-breakage.
Take a read through his article, you'll see what I mean. He states it so much better than I do (as he should...it's his idea). Oh, and the end result is cool as well.
