Well, given the current discussions going on about fluid design versus fixed design, line length is being overlooked. Well, was being overlooked. This important usability requirement finds that an average of 10-11 words per line is optimum.
Yes, I know, I don't follow that. I'm well aware of that. I just haven't found a way to shrink the line length while maintaining a fluid design. I'm working on it. But seriously, this is an important item to be aware of. Good article, good links, good stuff.
