Wow, that's a big map.

There is a huge 3D Pixel Map of downtown DC over at the DC government main page. Let that sink in. The government site has a 3D Pixel Map. You'll understand the weirdness when you see the map. It is so no the govt.

The map itself is quite cool. The pertainent buildings and locations are clickable, the map is scrollable, and there is a location picture at the bottom. The only thing I don't like is that I have to scroll using their buttons, rather than the browser's scroll bars. And that's a minor nit-pick. The map is fantastic. Utterly fantastic. The rest of the site seems is a car-wreck of a mess, but boy did they do a good map.

Excellent map. The mouse wheel scrolled it horizontally. Odd.
