Color Selection Rules of Thumb

The Rules of Thumb for Color Schemes is an excellent resource. It explains various color schemes incredibly well, with photographic examples.

The schemes they cover are:

  • Monochromatic
  • Neutral colors
  • Analogous
  • Warm colors
  • Cool colors
  • Complementary
  • Intensity
  • Triad
  • Secondary
  • Intermediate
  • Split complements
  • Double complementary

A neat and useful guide. Good stuff.
