Okay. I’m pretty happy.
I’ve found the greatest music videos ever. And another really, really good one. Seriously. They’re perfect, each in their own way. Why MTV isn’t playing the shit out these I just don’t know.
Music Video 1 is Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Hurra Torpedo. It’s really an odd band, but the video is really, really catchy. I mean, it just works it way into your brain and won’t let go.
But then there is Eric Prydz. This man is my new Music VIdeo Hero. Whoever produced this video deserves an award. Go to iTunes and buy Eric’s music, because he deserves to be supported for putting out quality music videos of such perfection. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present Call on Me, the Best Music Video EVER. Go watch it, download it, buy the album, support the artist. You’ll thank me later. I’m partial to track #2, the Retarded Funk Mix.

Um, what, exactly, makes that video exceptional? I mean, it's like a long beer commercial, but with a remix of some other song. I mean, the Hurra Torpedo thing is inspired brilliance, but while I enjoy women in spandex, it's hardly new ground for the form.

What makes the video exceptional? It IS the women in spandex dancing around like it's 1988 and MTV played videos. That's what makes it so great, this return to what made videos so awesome in the first place. It's a (the?) core essence of a great video. And he's captured it nicely.
This is what I want on my MTV. I want Hurra Torpedo, and Gary Prydz putting women in spandex and having them dance for me.

and you're right this video is exception, it's not a beer commercial, artistically (and I'm not joking I'm very serious)..... this is a really cool well coreographed very fun video come on it's cool it's got a great vibe beer commercials don't have good vibes, they're selling a drug how lame this is selling sex and love for sex and loves sake and it's pure fun.
