Ajax comments, because it's just THAT trendy.

I ran across this post about how to Ajax-ify your comments and thought that could be interesting.

So I followed his instructions and templates. All in all, fairly easy and straightforward. They’re live now here, so feel free to test it out. Defintely check out his original article on how to do this.

UPDATE: I did forget to mention, I did just blatantly steal Bryans progress bar image. As well as his styles of disabling the form. And his javascript. i really did almost nothing except implement what he put together. So go check out his stuff, it’s good. I took it.

Nice work - glad to see someone else has got it up and running!

whoops, problem with MT-Blacklist. not sure why...

also, i'm glad you're using the code, but please create your own progress bar image ;)

Tony

Yeah, I did just take you image. Sorry about that. I was feeling lazy and did not want to create an animated gif.

I'll update the post and give you credit in the meantime.

Ajaxcommenting seems kinda fun, ...

Preview button is broken, looks a bit dry visually, but the concept is nice.

Perhaps you could show the preview directly in a highlighted comment post, instead of down under the entry area, to be more realistic.
