Visual Complexity

Visual Complexity is a really nice site. It’s meant to be a unified resource space that collects complex visualizations.

The project main goal is to leverage a critical understanding of different visualization methods, across a series of disciplines, as diverse as Biology, Social Networks or the World Wide Web.

I find some examples better than others in terms of layering infromation. I think some of the links aren’t good in terms of understanding the data. They’re pretty, but worthless in terms of comprehending the data. It’s a great site to browse around in.
