One Year, Six Days.

It’s been one year and six days since I last had a cigarette. Thanksgiving last year was my quit date. Well, the day after Thanksgiving. I still have cravings, but not so often. But boy, when they come, they just bring me to my knees. I truly miss smoking. I don’t miss the smell on my clothes, nor the drain on my wallet. But the smell of a fresh pack, that initial lighting of the smoke. A cigarette with coffee… mmm.

But I digress. I’m proud that I quit. And I think this time it’s for the long haul. Until they invent a healthy cigarette, or a cure for lung cancer.
